About Us
Learn together. Perform together. Grow together.
MISSION
Musical learning and performance with a group, can help build relationships and friendships. Our mission is to share insights, tips, and resources from our personal exploration, research, and experience, to help other music students participate more skillfully and confidently in their own school and youth orchestra communities.

Our Story
The founders are three friends at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, who enjoyed playing violin as members of the school orchestra. All three started learning how to play violin at a young age, and were blessed to learn from music teachers privately and at school. They participated in middle school, junior high school, high school, and local youth orchestras for many years.

Participating in orchestra can be fun and exciting, but it also requires hard work, dedication, and skill. Unfortunately, not every music student has appropriate access to good resources to fully develop their skills.
These three friends decided to try to help others learn how to better participate in orchestra, by sharing tips and insights gained over their many collective years of learning, practicing, and playing in youth orchestras. They hope that you will enjoy what they share on this website, and that their words will help enable you to participate more skillfully and confidently in your own school orchestra!
